POSITION SUMMARY:  Provide leadership, supervision and organization of the activity team and carry out the objectives of the program.  Help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and an increased level of self-esteem.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Demonstrate aptitude for performing identified tasks
2. Exhibit high moral values and be able to serve as a favorable example to young people
3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Instruct team members on activity
2. Conduct team meetings and practices
3. Register team members for tournament/competition
4. Keep parents and team members informed of scheduled practices
5. Inform team members of district rules and procedures
